Joaquin Phoenix's JOKER - I Think I Know What The Joke Is

So, Joaquin Phoenix's JOKER. That's what I'm going to be calling the movie. It might be Todd Philips' but.......... let's let that one hang.

Spoilers Ahead !!!!!!!!

Let's start with the truth. I was disturbed after watching this movie. I was angry the whole day. My mother couldn't understand what had gotten into me. I felt frustrated. I lashed out without reason.

Later on when I analysed my feelings, I realised I was feeling trapped. I have seen people suffer from mental illness in my family and watching movies based on that, I have always felt like I can't breath. It always makes me feel like I am a ticking bomb, though not outwardly unstable, just waiting for something to tip me over and then I'll come into my true self like a Raging Flood, RagingFlood, RagingFlora...............

Don't misunderstand me, the fact that the movie made me feel this way, is proof enough that the Movie did it's job right. It is a Masterpiece. It has shown us the demented ways circumstances around us can make us crazy. Even though nothing should be used as an excuse for bad behavior. But how could we say that it is infact bad behavior. Are we that narrow minded that we cannot fathom the possibility that someone could be actually sick.
Simply saying, "Get Over It" is not the medicine people who are suffering, need.

But then an effective treatment is also not available. According to me, the most difficult Science out there is Psychology and Psychiatry. It's clearly not a "Man' s Job". Where is God when we need God.

Okay. Now, it's time for THE JOKE that we won't get apparently.
Now this is MY INTERPRETATION of What The Joke Maybe.

The movie makes us want to believe that the narrative is true. That a man who is shunned by society in a cruel way, with no fault of his own, can turn into a Crazy Man. A Man who did not have a chance from the beginning. Whose adopted mother herself was crazy and her string of random boyfriends physically assaulted the child, and caused a head injury so severe that he incurred permanent damage to his brain.
It makes you ponder if he would have been better off in the orphanage or on the streets.
Or if he wasn't adopted, even then his fate was somehow sealed because he turned out to have the same mental disease as his mother. Cursed Genetic Endowment.

This is what the movie made us believe. Okay. Now the following is what I think could have happened.
I think that the WHOLE MOVIE WAS A JOKE. A Joke that the Arthur had been narrating to his Psychiatrist in Arkham State Hospital. An elaborate Joke where he just told a story that people EXPECTED TO HEAR of someone who suffers from a mental disease. A broken man, a nasty childhood that led him to become a certain way. But I think that is what the Joker was joking about. He was what he was, even if there was no background story that could explain it. A master manipulator. A trickster. He just killed the Psychiatrist in the end. There was no motive for it as he always tried to show in his backstory. That killing was just unprovoked and remorseless.

This is my take on The Joke. Share yours in the comments below.

MOMMY SON's (마미손) Korean Music Revolution - Rapper With Pink Mask

I Used to Hate Pink but then I laid eyes on Mommy Son (마미 손) Literally meaning Mother's Hand. And Figuratively meaning the Best Korean Music Revolutionary Act out there. This guy has what it takes to change the face of the Korean Music Industry Forever. Because what lies beneath is an endless pit of Talent and Wit. And I say Wit because the path this rapper has taken is an amazing one, that requires a whole lot of Creativity and Intelligence. I mean how many times can you say that a Musician is Intelligent and not merely Artistic. IF YOU ARE SAD, CRY YOU FOOL, IT'S OKAY    DID YOU THINK I'D FAIL HERE, YOU PUNKs?    YOU KNOW WHO I AM - JUST A CLOWN ( *winks* ) The Rapper with the Pink Beanie has been on the scene since making his debut on Show Me The Money, a Rapping show. He was eliminated from the show in the Second episode because he forgot the lyrics in the midst of rapping. I'll let you know what I think happened, but hold on

GOO HARA, SULLI, JONGHYUN and B.I, E Dawn, Hyuna, Wonho, Kangin, Woojin, IZOne, X1..... I LIVE FOR KPOP BUT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT !

2019 - It's been a Polyvarious Year for 한류Hallyu or The Korean Wave. I mean, on one hand, there is the Global Phenomenon that is Parasite 기생충 directed by Bong Joon Ho. The movie that has received the highest honor one could get at the Cannes Film Festival - The Palme d'Or in 2019. The perfect embodiment of how the Korean Society functions and also how the whole world functions in accordance with The Class Gap. A Literal Masterpiece. But we are not here today to talk about the Magnificence of Parasite. We are here to analyze another parasite that has been plaguing the Korean Media as a whole. A parasite that has its hooks deep, far and fixed into the MINDs of THE KOREAN PEOPLE. PERCEPTION & PREJUDICE are our PARASITEs. In the past 2 years, the Kpop world has lost 2 precious angels - Jonghyun and Sulli. Depression and other mental health issues have led to their demise. All of this stemming from Loose Lips & Frantic Fingers of the Public. Isn't it a type of

Why KPOP Does Not Understand CULTURAL APPROPRIATION and The Epidemic of COLORISM in Korea

Cultural Appropriation has been one of the most talked-about controversial topics in the Kpop Industry in the past few years. The Real Problem - Why don't these almost GLOBAL ARTISTs know any better? The world is such a small place now, still, these artists claim they don't know about what this particular problem entails. The issue of Racism and Colorism. Are they so blind to their own fans' lives and history? They may be well rounded in the sense of vocal, visual, gag ability but they are not really socially aware, which is very bad for someone in the spotlight. In short, they should know better. They should read more, their team should be more knowledgeable and informative. Before putting out a performance, someone should check and double-check their content. These are the ways of damage control. But these are all Superficial Fixer-Upper things. What really needs to be done, is make the artist more aware of the situation. Where do people come from when they are expre
